Therefore, it is absolutely crucial that our citizens be aware of and engaged in media policy.

Internet Policy

We are working to guarantee that Internet and broadband access are affordable, accessible, and fast, including support for policy that would bridge the digital divide and would promote rather than prohibit public efforts to create such networks. Learn more.

Media Ownership

We are working to stop media consolidation by slowing down any action by the FCC or Congress that would loosen ownership caps on radio and television or would allow cross ownership of newspapers and broadcast outlets in individual media markets, while also supporting policies that pressures or requires the FCC to promote diverse, independent and minority ownership.
